HistoryAnn Baker of Riverside, California developed the Ragdoll breed in the early 1960s. A pure white longhaired cat named Josephine is believed to be the matriarch of the breed along with a seal mitted male named Daddy Warbucks and a solid black cat named Blackie. Daddy Warbucks was bred to a daughter of Josephine named Buckwheat and her half sister, Fugianna. These cats are the foundation of the Ragdoll breed. Ann insisted Josephine's genes were altered at a nearby medical center where she was taken after being hit by a car. Litters born after her return from the hospital had the limp, loving personalities Ragdolls are known for, unlike her "normal" kittens born prior to her hospitalization. Baker's breeding program consisted of a handful of breeders contracted as franchises under her. As time went on, Baker became more eccentric and breeders broke away from her so they could continue to develop the highly affectionate and consistently patterned cats. Denny & Laura Dayton were among the breeders who distanced themselves from Baker and went on to play a major role in making the Ragdoll into a legitimate breed recognized by all the major registries.
Landmarkragdoll Cattery works with the lovely ice white ragdolls who are born white and have blue eyes. Each white ragdoll masks for a pattern either color point or bi color. Apointedrave Avalanche Aspen the sire of my blue eye white ragdoll kittens masks a color point pattern! He carries two genes for chocolate. Aspen is actually a chocolate color point under that beautiful ice white fur. Blue eye white ragdolls have prettier blue eyes then traditionals. However; Cindy sells those kittens priced by eye color evaluation.
We offer purebred ragdoll kittens and occasional Siberian kittens for discerning cat lovers. Each cat is bred and cared for by individuals who truly love what they do along with two veterinarians who over see the health of all my kittens and cats. Our beautiful ragdoll kittens are the result of selective breeding, which produces purebred TICA registered kittens.
Each cat is a stunning combination of beauty, size and stamina. If you love cats as much as we do, you'll appreciate our attention to every detail possible. Whether you want a cat for show or additional breeding, we'll do our best to find a darling kitten that's right for your needs.
We make every effort to ensure that each cat is pure in every way possible. If any breeding efforts fail, no further breeding is done with that line. At the same time, each cat receives meticulous care that includes a carefully prepared diet and plenty of tender, loving hands on care. Each kitten is treated humanely and comes with properly prepared papers. Diet is determined by the need of the cat and/or kitten. Landmark Kittens are not brokered or sold to pet stores.

About Cindy Jones: Originally from Pittsburgh, PA now resides in Atlanta since 1976.
It is this commitment to pet ownership that Cindy continues to be who she is a dedicated breeder of ragdoll cats and kittens.
Landmark Ragdoll Cattery & Siberians is a company based on a love of cats that started with nine adult ragdolls. Cindy Jones, the owner, has been a professional breeder since 1992. She has bred purebred Ragdolls and Siberians since 2005 through Landmark Ragdoll Cattery & Siberians in the picturesque Sawnee Mountain area of Georgia. Ms. Jones, a proud member of The International Cat Association (TICA), has a Georgia Department of Agriculture license and a local county business license. A cattery "in-law apartment" gives our cats a place of their own to call home with plenty of space to enjoy being a cat. We want to stress the fact that we love our pets. Each cat is carefully and lovingly nurtured in a spacious and serene environment. We want our customers to realize that there is no concept of time when it comes to breeding. Things happen when they happen. However, we do our best to ensure positive results when nature takes over.
Call today to setup a weekend appointment to make all of the necessary arrangements. We will gladly show you our facilities and introduce you to some of our cats.

Each kitten you purchase is genetically tested. We also have vets on-staff who routinely examine each kitten and address any health issues before you make your purchase. We can also provide care tips and recommendations to help you get the most out of your new kitten. We have an established breeding program to carefully hone certain characteristics and traits.
Our ragdoll type is mitted with a white ruff. Each kitten will grow into an adult with a long, sweeping tail. The large eyes are blue, round and match in size. Eye color is based on a numbering system of one through nine. Our blue minks sparkle with the color of an ocean storm. Our bew are cute little purring machines. We happen to think that the introverted V on our bi-colors is - wait for it - absolutely purr-fect!
